"Hi everybody. It's Mary, and I was gonna read one of my favorite Rusty books with you today. Rusty goes to Frontier Days. Those of you who have been to Frontier Days know how much fun it is, or if you've been to a great big rodeo, you know how much fun that is. And that's what this story is about is a great adventure and it's fun to learn where the rodeo events come from.
And they're actually been around a long, long time from the old, old West. When the cowboys would get together to show off their skills and started having competition and winning money, and, and that's turned into an amazing sport today. That takes a lot of courage and a lot of drive and dedication and a really, really special, unique partnership with a horse.
So I wanna read that to you today. Rusty's here with me to read along and hopefully you'll enjoy it. Oh, and make sure that you look for the cow dog on every page he has to go along to for the adventure, of course, and he is up to things like any good cow dog would be."
